I can do whatever I want!!!
"I have the right to say whatever I want!" This is a common phrase heard on the playground at my mother's school. Little kids who get caught for saying cuss words are punished for their actions, but they still rant and rave about how it is their right to say such bad language on a playground full of third graders at a Christian school. This makes me wonder: what exactly are our rights as far as this situation might go? Are people free to say whatever they please, oblivious to the thoughts and feelings of the people around them, or is there just some unwritten law that says we shouldn't try to offend others in our presence?
