If I had been asked a year ago how I felt about abortion, I would have told anyone asking that I was extremely against it. It was then that I was assigned to debate for the pro-choice side of a high school debate team. For two weeks, both sides of the team did research to find out exactly what they were arguing for and prepare for the presentation. I wasn't very happy that I was being made to argue for something I was so much against. But as we got closer to the time of presentation and I learned more about what I was arguing for, I started to take some of the positive facts into consideration.
