Dear Vice President Gore:
I am a freshman at Bishop McGuiness High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It is a Catholic school and being Catholic I have always been taught that abortion is not right. I am writing you today because I feel strongly about abortion, and I find it morally wrong.
My perception of when life begins is as soon as the egg has been fertilized. To my standards abortion is like murder. Some people's perception of life is when the unborn fetus has a heart or even up until it has been born. I believe that when two living things combine to make something else, that something else is living.
