Nick and Jen have been married for two years and they make the decision to have kids. Their first child, Jaque, was born a healthy baby. Ten years down the road, Jaque develops a heart condition that requires a heart transplant. Unfortunately, at the time, there are no hearts available for her, and she will soon die. However, with new technology, cloning is an option she is able to take. With cloning, she is able to have a heart reproduced like that of her own from her DNA.
